The Lewes Fire Department, Inc. is a combination volunteer/career fire department that provides fire and emergency medical services to Lewes and surrounding jurisdictions in Sussex County Delaware. Lewes is the busiest fire department in Sussex County and the fifth busiest in the state, not including the City of Wilmington
