Monthly department training was held at Station 2 on January 15th.  The topic of training was SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) familiarization.  27 members attended!

Assistant Chief Bayko provided members with an overview of all of the SCBA components and functions, as well as the Scott RIT pack and Emergency Procedures.  Fire Chief Evans led training on the cascade filling system used to replenish SCBA cylinders with high-pressure air after fires.  DSFS conducted annual facepiece Fit testing for each member in attendance, to ensure a leak-free fit. 

Dinner was provided to members after training.
