Past Fire Chief Evans gets EMT of Year Award

On Friday February 20, 2015, Life Member of 40 years and Past Fire Chief Wally Evans was recognized by the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce for being the 2015 Joshua M. Freeman  EMT of the year for the Millville Fire Company. Past Fire Chief Evans and his partner, Robert Webster responded to a cardic arrest call. After perfoming CPR and other life saving measures the patient survived and is still alive today. Past Chief Evans received a plaque and a gift card. Past Chief Evans has received three life saving awards within the last three years from different organizations. Past Chief Evans continues to remain very active with both the fire and EMS sides of the Lewes Fire Department.
