At 1930 Rehoboth Beach Fire Department (Sta 86) & Lewes Fire Department (sta 82) were dispatched to a possible plane crash on the beach in the area of Gordons Pond. Both stations responded. Lewes Fire Captain (82-23) Dylan Sharp responded to the scene and found the plane intact just south of Herring Point and assumed 82 command. Assessed the occupants for injuries and found both to be shaken but uninjured. He placed the situation under control 1945 with the scene turned over to Delaware State Police (DSP) and the Department of Natural Resources (DNREC). Units responding 82-8, 82-10, 86-0, DNREC, and DSP.
