Water Rescue Training with Dewey Beach Lifeguards and T-2 - Dagsworthy Street in the Ocean, Dewey Beach

On August 21, 2011 at approximately 0830 hours, Lewes Marine 82-1 along with the Delaware State Police Helicopter T-2, and Dewey Beach Lifeguard Patrol performed water rescue training in the ocean off of Dagsworthy Street in Dewey Beach. Members of the Lewes Fire Department and Dewey Beach Patrol praticed boarding and loading victims onto stokes baskets and removing the baskets from the water onto Marine 82. Members of the Dewey Beach Patrol also practiced jumping out of T-2 and hoisting operations from the ocean to the beach.
