The Lewes Fire Department Inc. recently purchased an 8 1\2 foot Western V Snow Plow to assists our efforts during snow events. Features of the new plow include 8 1\2 angle left or right, a V position for plowing through large drifts and a scooping position for cleaning up. The new plow is installed on our unit 82-12 a 2007 Ford F350 Pickup Truck. The plow will be used primarily for keeping The LFD Facilities accessible during snow storms and assisting with Ambulance Responses when needed.
