Lewes firefighters participated in rope rescue training. Members spent two nights learning about types of ropes, and practicing tying various knots. Members then spent saturday at Beebe hospitals parking garage lowering a dummy using a rappel rack and descender. The day concluded with each firefighter getting a chance to practice rappeling off the side of the parking garage.
