Over 500 children participated in this years Fire Safety Week. The children walked to the fire station where they were greeted by fire fighters. They were taught about the different apparatus, emergency number 911, stop drop and roll, smoke detectors, what fire fighters wear and squirting water from the fire hoses. After the tour the children were given a ride back to school on the fire trucks.
