Lewes assisted RBVFD with a building fire in the Crest Apartments on Monday evening. One unit was heavily damaged and several others sustained smoke and water damage as over 100 firefighters from Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Bethany Beach, Milton, Indian River, Georgetown, and Roxana's Rehab unit battled the blaze for over 2 hours before bringing it under control.
