Lewes Fire Dept. participated in a Disaster Drill with Beebe Medical Center on Thursday, Nov. 13th. Sussex County EMS, Lewes Police, Delaware State Police, Rehoboth Beach and Milton Fire Departments also were present. The drill tested Beebe's ICS plan and preparedness. The incident was a crash of a helicopter on the helipad.
