The Lewes Fire Department has been serving our community with dedication and valor since 1796. As the longest running volunteer fire department in the State of Delaware, we are witnessing unpresented growth that is outpacing the department’s financial support. Our team of highly trained EMT’s & firefighters works tirelessly to protect lives and property from the devastating impact of fires and emergencies. As we strive to enhance our capabilities and expand our outreach programs, we are seeking support from community-minded businesses.
The Lewes Fire Department, Inc is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that is partially funded by the State of Delaware and the City of Lewes, but relies heavily on fundraising events and donations from the residents and businesses in our area. Please support our department with your tax-deductible donation. Your donation will be used to help fund ongoing operations, purchase new fire gear, and maintain existing fire apparatus.
