Friday afternoon @ 1505 Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Indian River Fire Departments responded to a reported working structure fire on Mackenzie Way off Plantations Road west of Coastal Highway. Craig Stephens Safety Officer 82-20 was in the area and arrived on scene shortly after dispatch taking 82 command and advising heavy fire conditions from an attached two car garage. Chief Buckaloo arrived next and took operations. Engine 82-5 was first arrivng engine and placed a 21/2 CAFS line in service quickly extinguishing the fire with little extension into the main house.
