Lewes firefighters along with Sussex county EMS, CHHS ROTC, DSP and Trooper 2 participated in a vehicle rescue demonstration at Cape Henlopen high school. Members of the ROTC acted as accident victims while firefighters, and paramedics went to work on extricating and packaging several victims. One victim was DOA, two were "transported" via ambulance 82, and one "flown" via trooper 2. This mock accident was to show students the possible repercussions of drinking and driving.
