The Lewes Fire Department provided a fire prevention presentation to Camp Abilities Delaware, an adaptive sports camp for children with visual impairments. FF Chris Colpo designed tactile posters for each Athlete to take home so that they could make an fire escape plan with their families in their homes. FF’s Colpo, Steward Pryor and Matt Hassel, talked to the Athletes about the importance of an escape plan and what to do incase of a fire in their home. The Athletes then explored the fire trucks and took a ride around the parking lot.
