At 0054 hrs Lewes FD, SCEMS medic 104, and DSP trooper 2 were dispatched to old mill road for the single vehicle MVC with one subject still in the vehicle and unresponsive. Command 82 with Assistant Chief Davis arrived on scene and advised of the same. Engine 82-5 arrived on scene and simultaneously began to make access to the patient, stabilize the vehicle, and prepare for extrication. The patient was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest. With the assistance of the ambulance and Rescue 82's crew The patient was removed from the vehicle and CPR was started. Engine 82-5 and Command 82 remained on scene to assist the DSP FAIR team with scene lighting. While on scene assisting DSP, Sussex dispatched station 82 to assist station 85 (Milton) on a house fire.
