Wednesday afternoon 3/14 Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle accident with subjects reported trapped. Deputy 82 (Magee) first on scene reported 2 vehicles subjects trapped and a utility pole down. Rescue 82 & 82-5 arrived on scene and quickly started extrication on the patient from the truck. The second vehicles patient was pronounced at the scene. The driver of the truck was extricated and flown by Delaware Trooper 2 to a trauma center. The roadway was closed for over 3 hours while the Delaware State Police investigate and the power company restored power to hundreds of customers without power
