Assist Rehoboth on a House Fire - Mulberry Knoll Rd.
Fri, Sep 29, 2006
While Lewes units were clearing an earlier accident Rehoboth Center dispatched Sta. 86 for a working house fire including Sta. 82 for assist and Sta. 80 for RIT team. Deputy 86 arrived on scene with smoke and fire showing. Rehoboth center then advised that someone may be inside the structure. Engine 82-5 arrived first and placed an 1 3/4" CAFS line in service and knocked the bulk of fire down. After searching the structure no victims were found and it was later determined that everybody had evacuated the structure. Crews remained on scene for overhaul. The Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.
