Jean-Michel “Mike” Dittmann, 77, passed away on the morning of Saturday, March 19, 2022, surrounded by his wife and family.

He fought a long and difficult battle with cancer in recent years and stayed strong until the end.

Mike is survived by his wife, Irmgard; daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, and grand-doggies.

An avid fisherman, devoted husband and father, and proud “Opa” to his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than time spent together, especially on the water, and was happy to have passed that love of all things fishing to everyone he knew.

Mike was an intelligent, honest, hard-working, and selfless person who never spoke negatively about anyone. He loved his family, friends and his community. He served as president of the Severna Park Rotary Club and was an auxiliary member of Lewes Fire Department Station 82. His love, smile and huge bear hugs will be missed tremendously by all.
