This a late entry, but on Tuesday May 16, 2017 on a early muggy humid morning Christopher Joseph Rickards was born at 07:38am to Engine Captain Michael Rickards and Taylor Fister at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, little Christopher weighed in at a healthy 6lbs and 13.1 ounces. Little Christopher turns 7 months old on December 16 and is a very active little guy who one day will hopefully join the ranks of the Lewes Fire Department to continue his families long time service to LFD.

Christopher is the grandson of Member Patricia Dickerson (Rickards), great grandson of Life Members Naomi Rickards and the late Lou Rickards and is also the cousin to Firefighter Christopher Colpo and Chief William Buckaloo. Little Christopher will be the future Godson to Past Deputy Chief Craig Reynolds and his wife Taylor.
