On Monday January 25th at 1430hrs the Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Milton Fire Department and Ellendale Fire Company with a reported dwelling fire in the town of Milton. Ladder82, Engine 82-4 and Engine 82-2 made a response. Crews from Lewes arrived simultaneously and began performing a primary search of the first and second floors of the two story balloon frame. Crews from Milton held the fire to the exterior with minor extention to the walls of the interior. Lewes members conducted overhaul and ventilation tasks on the second floor and in the attic.
