Members of the Lewes Fire Department visited Shields Elementary School today to recognize local and county winners of the 2014 essay and poster contest. All of the particpants demonstrated fire safety knowledge and creativity. The ceremony was well attended and the awardees were extremely happy with their plaques and personalized award bags. The department would like to thank Shields staff and all those that participated in station visits and the essay/poster contest! Winners listed below.
