PART TIME JOB POSTING

Lewes Fire Department, a busy, progressive station that runs a diverse mix of calls, is currently accepting applications for part-time positions of EMT or Firefighter/EMT. Candidates must provide their resumes along with their Fire/EMS training records. Applicants must be able to pass a department physical agility test, medical physical, and drug screening.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21 Years of Age or Older to drive
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Nationally Registered EMT
• Delaware EMT
• CPR/AED
• Emergency Vehicle Operator

Job Description (Includes but not limited to):

• Employees will conduct daily equipment checks on all ambulances/other apparatus.
• Other duties as assigned to include light janitorial and maintenance work.
• Employees are expected to perform firefighting activities as assigned if applicable.
• Due to the nature of the work being performed, employees must be able to lift at least 200 pounds with the assistance of a partner.

$15.00 per hour
