Mon, Apr 15, 2013
On the evening of Monday April 15th., Lewes Fire Department Members spent several hours training with Lewes Fire Department Rescue Rope & Confined Space Rescue Equipment, Procedures, and Techniques. The members in attendance received hands on training with equipment identification & set up, patient packaging, and basic rescue techniques. The members concluded the training event with a successful patient rescue lower from the second floor loft of the fire station to the ground. During the lowering evolution, the crews were broken down into a packaging team, a rigging team, and a support team. Great job to all of the members involved!
