Engine 82-3 Rolls Up on MVC w/ Injuries - John J. Williams Hwy. on the Love Creek Bridge

On Thursday February 14, 2013 @ 1338 Hrs., Lewes Engine 82-3, on the road with a crew of 4 for equipment maintenance, discovered a 2 vehicle MVC on John J. Williams Hwy. on the Love Creek Bridge. Engine 3's crew, under the direction of Captain A. Martin (82-25), began to assess for injuries and controlled a leaking gas tank from an SUV. Captain Martin requested Station 82 to be alerted for the crash and establish 82 Command. 2 subjects were transported by Lewes Ambulances and suppression units secured the vehicles and cleared debris from the roadway. Lewes Fire Police provided traffic control around the crash scene.
