Traffic Control 82 put in service - Lewes Fire Department Station 1

Fire Chief Wally Evans, Fire Police Captain Edward Schaeffer and all the members of the Lewes Fire Department Inc. are pleased to anounce that they have placed in service a 2012 Traffic Control Unit. This unit will be known as Traffic Control 82.

Traffic Control 82 is a 2012 Ford F-350 Super duty extended cab pickup truck with an 8 foot Reading body. This unit is 4 wheel drive powered by a 6.7 diesel engine. This unit has a custom center console with 800mhz radio, siren and computer for street and area locations.

Traffic Control 82 is fully equipped with emergency running lights. A 30” x 60” Trafcon LED Arrow Board. A 5000 watt Honda generator with remote start. 2 - 12 volt 19,000 lumens LED scene lights and 2 – 110 volt 20,000 lumens LED scene light. This unit is equipped with a custom rear step, with handrails for cone deployment.
