Two vehicle collision stops traffic - Coastal Highway ITAO Home Depot

On Sunday August 12, 2012, at approximately 1252 hours, the Lewes Fire Department, Paramedics, and Trooper 2 were dispatched to a rollover vehicle accident with a subject reportedly trapped. Upon arrival of Fire Chief Wally Evans, it was determined to be a two vehicle accident with no subjects trapped. Prior to Fire Department arrival, civilians had pushed the overturned vehicle back upright.  A total of two patients, one ALS and one BLS, were transported to Beebe Medical Center. Crews perfromed fluid and debris clean up. All fire apparatus was placed in service by 1321 hours. Fire Police remained on scene assisting DSP until approximately 1335 hours.

 

Units on scene: Fire Chief's Utility, Rescue 82, Ambulances A & C 82, Medic 104, EMS 100, DSFP, and DSP. Engine 82-2 and Ambulance D-82 were returned prior to their arrival.
