Hot water heater causes small fire - Spinnaker Circle Wolfe Runne

On Friday June 29, 2012 at approximately 2226 hours, The Lewes Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire. Upon arrival of fire crews, it was determined that a gas hot water heater on the second floor had started a fire between the first and second floors of the residence. The residents were evacuated from the residence and crews located and extinguished the fire. Crews then drained and removed the hot water heater from the residence. Minimal damage was done to the residence. All units cleared at approximately 2323 hours.
