MVC car into a building - Savannah Road E/O the rail road tracks

On May 12, 2012 at approximately 0247 hours, the Lewes Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle collision on Savannah Road just east of the rail road tracks. Upon arrival of Fire Chief Wally Evans, a report was given to EOC regarding the vehicle into the building. The single occupant of the vehicle was assessed for injures. One patient was transport BLS to Beebe. The building owner was notifed and responded to the scene to assess the damages. All units were cleared by approximately 0339 hours. Traffic control was provided. Units on scene: Chief's vehicle, Command 82, Rescue 82, Engine 82-9, Ambulances A-82 & C-82, DSFP, LPD, and DSP.
