Rescue Effort Awarded - Camp Arrowhead Road

On July 8, 2011 Station 86 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with reports of subjects trapped and vehicle on fire. Vice President/Asst. Chief Troy Virden responded with Warren Jones, Chief Harry Miller and FF Windy Wadsworth of the Rehoboth Beach Fire Volunteer Fire Company to find a vehicle on fire with a subject trapped inside. If not for the quick thinking of this crew, the accident victim would not have survived. On Wednesday November 16, 2011 Lt. Governor Matt Denn made a visit to the Lewes-Rehoboth Station 3 to recognize the crew from 86-5 for their heoric efforts. Many members of both Lewes and Rehoboth attended the recognition visit.
