T.A. SHIPLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD was presented to Ian T. Miller at the Lewes Fire Dept Meeting on 6 July 2009. This year's award was given in honor of Deceased Member Henry (Hank) Brittingham. The $1,000 check was presented to Ian T. Miller, 2009 Cape Graduate. Ian will attend San Diego State University in the Fall. STEPHEN R. JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP is presented by his parents and brother to a Lewes Fire Dept. member. This year's recipient, Matthew C.
