The annual EMS Memorial Bike ride honoring those that were lost in the past year stopped by station 2 for a brief rest stop. They would finish todays ride of over 100 miles at the Rehboth Beach Bandstand where a ceremony honoring the fallen was held. There were over 100 riders participating in the event and all were appreciative of the support they have received throughout the ride which started in Boston, MA and will end in Arlington, VA. Riders will be served a breakfast sponsored by Beebe Healthcare tomorrow at station 1 on Savannah RD. Lewes Fire Department is proud to support this event and invites the public to show their support to the riders as they depart for Annapolis MD tomorrow.
