  Lewes Responds for Vehicle Accident
 

Last Friday the Lewes Fire Department was alerted for a vehicle accident on Sweetbriar Road in the area of Pinetown Road. Enroute, Rescue 82 was alerted that there was one patient trapped. Delaware State Police arrived on the scene moments later to confirm same. Rescue 82 arrived and Captain Sharp operated as 82 Command. Rescue 82's crew performed a door-pop and Lewes EMT's and Sussex County Paramedics assisted in packaging and extricating the patient. The patient was then transported from the scene to BMC and the incident was placed under control.
