Construction is moving forward on our new Station #2 Firehouse at Nassau. Installation of steel can be seen in the photos as well as the first floor concrete pour. Back fill of the engine bay is complete. This will allow for the installation of the steel door frames and construction of the rear engine bay block wall to begin. Back fill continues on the exterior sides of the building. Photo with construction lighting shows a large basement for storage and future use. Notice the brick work starting on the columns located at the engine bay doors on the front of the building.
