Saturday Afternoon July, 17 2010 @ 16:30, Lewes FD, Sussex Medics & DSP Trooper 2 were dispatched to a serious MVC w/entrapment on John J Williams Hwy @ Burton's Pond. A Ford Explorer and a minivan collided head-on. The Explorer overturned trapping one victim and blocking the roadway. Indian River VFD was called to assist on the West side of the scene. The entrapped victim was extricated and flown to BMC by Trooper 2. Three additional victims were transported by ambulances to BMC.
