On October 17, the members of Lewes trained at station 1 on the Denver drill, a RIT ( Rapid Intervention Team) training module.  RIT training is for saving downed Firefighters that are in trouble. Thanks to Captain Trevor Feist who built us a new prop. Members learned of Denver FF Mark Langvardt and the circumstances the Denver Fire Department encountered to get to him and try to remove him from the structure in which he was trapped.  Members used different techniques to get to a downed firefighter in a confined space area and remove him from a window.
