Members travel to Indiana for live fire training
On Monday October 5th Lewes members Jason Stadler, Dylan Sharp, Trevor Fiest and Adam Martin attended the Fire Department Training Networks 3 day Live Fire Training Camp.  Training began with the forcible entry module where members forced multiple doors (32 in all) in gear, on air and under live fire conditions.  This was followed by Firefighter Survival, Residential Basement Operations, Searching without a Line, Hoarder Conditions, and Firefighter Rescue & RIT.  All modules tested the participents both physical and mental limitations under some very tough conditions so to improve on their fire ground skill and techinique when seconds count.  All members that attended definitly improved on their skills through these evolutions and agreed that this was the most realitic training they have ever been to.  Delaware was well represented, making up over 20% of the class.  Lewes was joined with our brothers and sisters from Millville, Bethany, Roxana, Cranston Heights, and Christiana.
